Parklife Headliner Announced Plus More Exciting Summer Festival News

 
Excellent news from Parklife Festival this week as the headliners for Saturday 11th July are finally announced as Two Door Cinema Club! The Irish indie trio, signed to French label Kitsuné,  follow in the footsteps of Friendly Fires last year and are set to smash the main stage with tracks from their hugely successful debut album Tourist History. Also added to the line-up are rising stars Everything Everything. Off the back of an excellent year when they were named in the BBC's 'Sound of 2010' poll, the Manchester band are sure to impress as they gain new fans with their recent single 'Final Form'.
Tickets for the weekend festival, 11th-12th July in Platt Fields Park, Fallowfield, are around 65% sold out and are sure to go rapidly in the next few weeks. To get your ticket, or for more information, visit the Parklife website.
 
Also announced this week are additions to the lineup of Exit Festival in Serbia with JamiroquaiHouse of Pain and Kreator added to the already impressive roster. With pre and post Exit events happening, festival go-ers can enjoy a whole holiday in Novi Sad and Belgrade either side of the event which continues to grow in size and reputation. Also in Easter Europe, huge name have been added to the line-up of Hideout Festival on the island of Pag, Croatia, which runs 1st-3rd July. 2manydjsEric PrydzCirco Loco and Marco Corola.
